- Gir forest:
Gir national park and wildlife sanctuary is the only rhome for Asiatic lions which is situated in Talala Gir in Gujarat. The best time to spot wildlife here is in April and May. The national park is closed between June and October every year. The official count of lions up until 2010 was nearly 411 lions. The official count said there were 411 lions in 2010.
