3. AJANTA-ELLORA CAVES:
It is one of the oldest UNESCO world heritage sites in India. The caves of Ajanta and Ellora caves are carved with beautiful paintings and sculptures. 4. NASHIK:
Nashik also known as Nasik is the third most populous city in Maharashtra and a great pilgrimage place to visit in Maharashtra. This place is a must include while on your trip to shirdi. Nashik is famous for its temples and religious shrines. Nashik is also famous for its sula vineyards. 5. AURANGABAD
Aurangabad is not only famous for its historical and cultural heritage but also is the tourism capital of Maharashtra. This city is named after the emperor Aurangzeb. The place is filled with beautiful mosques, temples, museums and gardens. “Bibi ka maqbara” is the place which defines the beauty of this city. 6. SHIRDI:
Shirdi is famous after late Shri sai baba, one of the greatest saints of Indian culture. This city is also known as the land of Sai and is famous for the shrine of Shirdi Sai Baba. One can never just visit Mahabaleshwar or Panchgani, these places are always visited together since they are situated quite close to one another.
